Lula Jordan taught in the Birmingham City School system for an impressive 41 years, and throughout her illustrious career and personal life, she has been a steadfast beacon of hope for countless individuals. Her unwavering dedication to the welfare and development of the young people around her extended far beyond the ordinary expectations typically associated with the role of a teacher. In recognition of her extraordinary contributions and lasting impact on her community, we want to honor her with this annual scholarship designated for deserving Ramsay High School seniors.
